Do you want to know more about the CCDS?

If you wish to know more about the CCDS then come and visit us! Do not hesitate to contact us to make an appointment, we will be happy to show you around our campus and introduce you to our team of staff members and professors.

How to Find Us

The CCDS is based on the third floor of Ku'damm Karree, Kurfürstendamm 207-208. To reach the CCDS you need to enter the Ku'damm Karree at the main entrance (from Kurfürstendamm) and continue walking until you see the lifts on the right hand side marked 'Hochhaus'. Only the first lift on each side will stop at the third floor. Take the lift to the third floor and follow the signs to the ICD address: Ku'damm Karree (3rd floor/Hochhaus), Kurfürstendamm 207-208, 10719 Berlin)

Public transport

  • U-Bahn
The nearest U-Bahn (subway/underground) station is Uhlandstraße, which serves the U1 line, and is a three minute walk from the office. When you arrive at Uhlandstraße, leave the station from the west exit (the direction in which the train is travelling). When you exit the station, cross onto the left side of Kurfürstendamm and continue west along Kurfürstendamm for approximately 100 meters. Kurfürstendamm 207 - 208 is on your left. The main entrance is immediately after the Karl Lagerfeld store.
  • S-Bahn
Savignyplatz S Bahn Station is only a 5 minute walk from the ICD building. Take the east exit and turn right, then go under the rail bridge, following Knesebeckstraße until it meets Kurfürstendamm and then turn left. The Ku'damm Karree is on the right hand side after 30 meters.
  • Bus
There is a range of alternative ways to get to the office, including buses, which may be more suitable. Uhlandstraße is on the 109, 110, M19, M29, N10, X10 bus routes.

Using Public Transport in Berlin

Berlin public transport can be expensive when buying a ticket on a daily base. However, the ICD will provide you a proof of a study placement which in addition to your valid student ID, can get a monthly ticket at the reduced rate of €54 (for unlimited trips on trains, buses and trams). The transport network is comprehensive, and trains run all night on Friday and Saturdays. On other nights, for the few hours they are not running, night buses travel the train line routes.
