Dr. Olivier Arifon

Biography

Dr. Olivier Arifon explores through his scholarly work the 3 dimensions of influence – Soft power, lobbying and disinformation - on regular basis at Université Catholique de Lille. He delivers these topics as visiting professor and trainer in various universities and institutional bodies such as ENA, UN, embassy of Kazakhstan in various countries as France, Germany, China, Brazil, and Romania. He conducts research at SicLab, Université Nice Cote d’Azur, focusing on public diplomacy, on China issues and on OSInt and democracy. He is the author of many articles in French and English and of the book, “Le Récit politique chinois, Soft, communication, influence, Paris, L’Harmattan, 2021.
